Afterglow

All my hard work is beginning to finally pay off! Print2Metal a Melbourne based company are now representing and selling my photographic images.

The images in the gallery are but a small selection of those taken during my time spent living, working and traveling around the Great Australian Outback. Some of them were taken right here in the Shoalhaven.

The very first shutter actuation on my D200

Mediocre

My very first image taken with my Nikon D200 back in 2007.
I was driving home with my booty from Adelaide and couldn’t wait to take a picture, so I stopped the car and shot from across the road.
To be honest I was very disappointed but it’s supposed to be better than my Pentax so what’s going on. I think it was the Sigma lens.
Anyway converted to black and white it looks better? Composition is composition no matter what the camera.

De Ranged Rover

The other evening I was thinking that maybe I’ve got too many photographic works for sale on Red Bubble and that I should have a bit of a cull. I had one photo in mind amongst others, this one as it has never sold well.

Hang Over

Blow me when I received an email from Red Bubble that someone had purchased a poster! Okay Deranged Range Rover your request for a stay of execution has been granted.

I remember a few years ago whilst driving to work in Sydney I would regularly see this Range Rover that the owner had chopped up a bit, his Range Rover sign had been changed to read “DERANGED ROVER”

It always made me smile especially because sitting on the back was his dog sporting a nice pair of driving goggles.

Currarong Photo Exhibition and calendar launch

The launch is at the Currarong Tennis Clubhouse on Wednesday 28th December from 5pm to 7pm and the show runs from 2pm to 5pm each day until January 3rd.

Callala Bay Triathlon

I recently attended my first Triathlon. Thank God I was behind the lens.
I have uploaded a portfolio of 101 monochrome images to try and show that behind the tremendous physical exertion, blood, sweat and tears there is room for finesse and grace too.

When you’ve had enough of that there are some pseudo lomo images too
